Sounds like Jerry is bored

Average age to get a mechanical valve is about 64, based on one study I found. Probably in the history of valve’s its lower. But even if we say 60, I got a 20 year head start on recovery.

That’s quite something when I think about it.

I got my grounds pass today, meaning I could go on any floor and walk wherever. Not quite staff, but not just general public. It’s like a back stage pass so long as you dont go into the trailers or locked rooms. Or an Indy 500 garage pass.

Just did another walk cause I can’t sleep. The phlebotomists, a word I couldn’t remember or say before, and aka vampire, should be in my room around 4am. 2 hours from now.

Around 7:30-8, Xray with a wheel chair shows up, doesn’t matter I’ve walked this entire hospital, still gotta ride.

I’ll order breakfast around 9-10am about the same time Nicole shows up. Its hospital food, but the 3rd morning of ordering I figured out things they can’t screw up for breakfast.

10ish to 5ish is a bit random. It has consisted of walks, doctors, physicians pharmacists, priests, pastors, other doctors, physical therapist, the surgeon, interns, residents, and I dont remember. I’d guess about 30 unique people have stopped by since Monday, mostly groups. All which might have taken a total of 15 mins of my time.

And then I got a pass two nights ago to have whatever food brought in for me so it’s been home cooked meals for past two nights! Thanks Jeantte and Angie so far! BrBr’s food is tonight!

Otherwise, since I got my grounds pass, I’ve been walking around everywhere and mapping the building. I feel like I’m staking the place for a bank heist…

Only thing keeping me here right now is my INR number. It’s the ratio between the time it takes my blood to clot with some standard set at some point. And it’s moving a but slow right now. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be in the 2-3 range, but I’m guessing it will be 1.5, which means another day.

Overall, not super boring but not really much going on.
